What They're Saying
We developed a new program at our hospital to promote heart health in women. I had seen Michelle Segar’s research on women and sustained exercise behavior, so we asked her to train our group about facilitating behavior change to promote heart health in our patients. Michelle was an enthusiastic and dynamic speaker! She helped us make the link between the "how" and the "why" of the behavior change process and explained how this framework could help us guide our patients to develop an intrinsic and sustainable desire to exercise. The step-wise approach she taught served us well in launching our Women’s Heart Secret program. We have been able to carry her message of how to create sustainable behavior through to our patients.

When I hired Michelle to present, her seminar not only filled up during the first week of registration, we also had to stop taking names for the waiting list! Her talk, “User Friendly Exercise for Busy Women,” received more interest than any other we offered. She was well-organized and able to relay both research and practical information to the audience in ways that were easy to understand. But Michelle’s talk went beyond just relaying interesting information, she inspired and empowered the audience to face their challenges. (I am one of these women).
