As one of the nation’s leading authorities on women’s health, integrative medicine and relationship-centered models of care, Genie James offers insight and advice on key life and health questions. As a professional speaker, Genie skillfully entwines well-researched medical data and information with humor and real-life case studies to bring her topics live.
Genie James, M.M.Sc., is nationally recognized as a trailblazer in women’s health services. With a Masters of Medical Science from Emory University and Ph.D. studies at University of Tennessee, she’s dedicated more than two decades championing natural approaches to improved women’s health and lifetime sexual vitality, consulting with physicians and hospitals across the country.
After the 2002 Women’s Health Initiative study came forth with undisputable evidence regarding the dangers of synthetic hormones, Genie convinced her husband and business partner, C.W. Randolph, Jr., M.D., R.Ph. to co-found the Natural Hormone Institute. Their mission: to educate healthcare consumers and their physicians about the safety and efficacy of bioidentical hormone replacement therapies (BHRT). Today, Genie serves as the Executive Director of the Natural Hormone Institute and is the acting Chief Executive Officer of Randolph Medical Enterprises.
In addition to authoring two award-winning books, Making Managed Care Work and Winning in the Women’s Health Care Marketplace, Genie and her husband have co-authored From Hormone Hell to Hormone Well, From Belly Fat to Belly Flat and newly released In the Mood Again (Simon and Schuster, 2010).

Genie James is a rare gift. She combines a warm, engaging, and humorous speaking style with a wealth of knowledge in the area of women’s health. Recently our church had her speak to several hundred women and the reviews were excellent. She has brought clarity and understanding to the importance of female sexuality, an area of women’s health that is often misunderstood and misrepresented. You will not be disappointed.
