
New Mom Moments helps families plan a health pregnancy and helps children cope with the a new addition to their family. This proven OB program provides member hospitals with strategies that bond women and their families to the hospital during a new and exciting time in their lives. New Mom Moments also assists hospitals in promoting service lines and physician practices related to obstetrics and gynecology, infertility, pediatrics and general women’s health. Optional components to New Mom Moments include:
PLANNING FOR PREGNANCY:
Is an educational workshop for women who are seeking information on planning a health pregnancy. Workshops for women who are currently expecting, or trying to become pregnant, include educational materials and fertility tracking information.
NEW BABY DAY CAMP FOR BIG BROTHERS AND SISTERS:
Is designed as an adventure that helps prepare children who are anticipating the arrival of a new sibling. This program provides a forum to increase family loyalty to the hospital and increase consumer perception of the hospital as a dedicated women’s (and family) health resource in the community.
NEW MOM TEA AND SOCIAL HOUR:
Is a quarterly event that focuses on education critical to healthy newborns and postpartum women. This event initiates relationships with newly pregnant women who are considering a hospital for delivery, and also maintains relationships with women who delivered within the past twelve months.
WHEN HOPE IS NOT ENOUGH:
Is a workshop presented by obstetrician/gynecologists and reproductive endocrinologists focusing on couples experiencing difficulties in achieving pregnancy. This program provides couples with information on ovulation detection, fertility diagnostics, and information on current reproductive technology, and includes support groups and educational resources for attendees.
COUPLES QUEST:
Is a concept template for a “couples seminar” designed to attract a new generation of parents and help them protect and cherish their relationship before during and after their arrival of their baby.
